The Canadian Entomologist journal joins Cambridge University Press
Cambridge University Press has announced that it will become the new home of The Canadian Entomologist from January 2012. “One of the best publishers in the business will now be marketing, publishing and distributing one of the oldest and most respected Entomological journals in the world – it’s a match made in Entomological heaven.” said Dr Christopher Buddle, Editor-in-Chief The Canadian Entomologist. The Journal is a peer-reviewed, international journal dedicated to publishing current research in all facets of entomology, including systematics and morphology, molecular and developmental biology, ecology and behaviour, biodiversity and evolution, insect management, entomological techniques, and other relevant subject areas. An official publication of the Entomological Society of Canada The Canadian Entomologist has appeared continuously since 1868 and publishes original research papers, scientific notes, and comprehensive review articles on current issues in entomology. The Canadian Entomologist welcomes submissions from around the world. It is distributed in more than 55 countries around the world and is published six times per year. Contributions are published in English or French and include abstracts in both languages. Authors will not pay page charges, and will experience fast, high quality reviews of their papers. The Canadian Entomologist will be hosted on our cutting-edge electronic platform, Cambridge Journals Online, and will include increased usability, increased functionality and many new features to enhance and optimize article usage.
