A two-day paper development workshop organised by the journal Management and Organization Review (MOR) took place at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) on 17th and 18th January 2018. The NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Centre at IIMB hosted the event.

Authors invited to participate in this workshop had papers in development for an upcoming special issue of MOR on The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystems in India. MOR has recently expanded its original focus on China to management and organizational research in all transforming economies and this will be its first special issue focused on India.

The Paper Development Workshop followed an interesting format. Authors were expected to have read all papers to be discussed. As an alternative to authors presenting their own paper, each paper was summarised and critiqued by two other participants followed by a round table discussion involving all attending. This approach was very well-received as it stimulated active participation. All fifteen papers then received detailed feedback from special issue Guest Editors Professors Peter Murmann (University of New South Wales), Ram Mudambi (Temple University) and Suresh Bhagavatula (IIMB) with MOR Editor-in-Chief Professor Arie Y. Lewin also participating.

Look out for publication of the resulting special issue later in 2018.
